It is situated on Leicester Road by the railway line and the River Sence. The adjacent Cricket Club grounds are privately owned and are not the Parish Council's responsibility. ![]() The Parks Committee meets at 13 Western Drive, Blaby on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 8 p.m.

ByeLaws Northfield ParkByelaws made by the Parish Council of Blaby under Section 8 (1) (d) of the Local Government Act, 1894, with respect to Playing Fields. 1) Throughout these Byelaws the expression "The Council" means the Parish Council of Blaby and the expression "The Grounds" means the Playing Field, Hospital Lane, Blaby and the Playing Field, Leicester Road, Blaby. 2) An act necessary to the proper execution of his duty on the Grounds by an Officer of the Council, or by any person or servant of any person employed by the Council, shall not be deemed an offence against these Byelaws. 3) A person shall not, except in pursuance of a lawful agreement with the Council, or otherwise in the exercise of any lawful right or privilege bring or cause to be brought on the Grounds, any beast of burden. 4) (i) A person shall not, except in the exercise of any lawful right or privilege bring or cause to be brought on to the Grounds any barrow, truck, machine or vehicle other than: 5) A person shall not, except with the consent of the Council, erect any post, rail, fence, pole, tent, booth, stand, building or other structure on the Grounds. 6) A person shall not on the Grounds wilfully obstruct, disturb, interrupt, or annoy any other person in the proper use of the Grounds, or wilfully obstruct, disturb or interrupt any Officer of the Council in the proper execution of his Duty, or any person or servant of any person employed by the Council in the proper execution of his Duty. 7) Every person who shall offend against any of the foregoing Byelaws shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding twenty pounds. 8) Every person who shall infringe any Byelaw for the regulation of the Grounds may be removed therefrom by any Officer of the Council or by any constable, in any one of the several cases hereinafter specified; that is to say; 14) The Byelaws relating to the Playing Field, Leicester Road, Blaby which were made by the Blaby Parish Council on the 10th October 1950 and were confirmed by the Secretary of State on the 9th April 1951 are hereby repealed. Dated 18th September 1972 BYELAWS, BLABY PARKSINTERPRETATIONByelaws made by the Council of Blaby Parish, under Section 15 of the Open Spaces Act 1906 with respect to Open Spaces. EXTENT (2) Notice of the effect of these byelaws shall be given by signs placed in conspicuous positions in or near the grounds. 2. (1) In these byelaws, "The Council" means the Council of Blaby Parish. (2) For the purposes of these byelaws the keeper of the dog shall be deemed in charge thereof, unless at the time when the dog fouled the grounds it had been placed in or taken into the charge of some other person. (3) In paragraph (2) above "the keeper" shall include the owner of the dog or any person who habitually has it in his possession. "POOP SCOOP" BYELAWS, BLABY PARKSREMOVAL OF CANINE FAECES3. Every person (other than a registered blind person) in charge of a dog which is in the grounds who, without reasonable excuse, fails to remove forthwith from the grounds any faeces deposited by the dog shall be guilty of an offence. 4.
