Burial Fees / ChargesN.B. For Non-Parishioners, all fees will be quintupled (multiplied X 5). The Clerk has discretion to waive treble fees for non-parishioners in the case of parishioners of long standing who have been obliged to reside outside the parish during their declining years in order to receive nursing or other residential care. PURCHASE OF EXCLUSIVE RIGHT OF BURIAL Single (For 2): 8ft. x 4ft:- £200.00 In the case of double-deep graves, only the charge for one plot is made, but interment charge, as in B) below, is made for each interment. Graves may be bought in advance. Pre-bought single graves may not be used for the interment of coffins (caskets) larger than 6'6" x 2'4". NOTE: To pre-book the burial rights to both interment and cremation plots, the cost will be doubled. INTERMENT (Regardless of age) Interment of coffin (exclusive plots): £50.00 These charges will apply each time the grave is opened, whether for primary or secondary inhumation. MONUMENT/MEMORIALS For the right to erect and place on a grave or cremation plot for which exclusive right of burial has been granted: (iii) On a cremation plot. (iv) All Memorials. Replacement Memorials ... 50% of the current fees. No kerbs or fixtures are allowed. UPKEEP OF GRAVES Per grave, per year: £10.00 + VAT. OTHER FEES Fees for other services, such as: THESE FEES APPLY when the person to be interred, or in respect of whom the right is granted, is, or immediately before his/her death was an inhabitant or parishioner of Blaby or, in the case of a still-born child, where the parents (or one of them) are, or at the time of interment were such inhabitants or parishioners.
